Charlotte Perriand Les Arcs chairs Please read full description before bidding. A set of six Charlotte Perriand Les Arcs chair with black frames and brown leather seats. In need of cleaning/restoration. Please see last 5 photos. I bought these chairs a while back and they had a strong unpleasant odour to the leather. The first 6 pictures show the chairs before I tried to clean them, the last 5 photos show details of one chair after cleaning it with leather cleaner. The leather cleaner has darkened the leather as can be seen in the later photos. More importantly the cleaner didn't manage to get rid of the smell and they still have a strong odour. They have been stored in a garage for 6 months and the leather now feels a bit damp plus there are darker patches to the leather where it connects to the frame. There is some surface rust and flaking paint on the frames. The chairs are been sold as is with no reserve and no returns. Do please ask any questions you have. I'd like to stress again that they do have a strong smell and I don't think they are suitable for domestic use as they are without further cleaning and that the leather is darker than the first 6 photos.Pick up from Bristol or I can recommend Mission Impossible Couriers (www.) for reliable UK delivery.Please see my other listings for more 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and modernist read more
