Maker : This charmingly naive handmade, hand painted dinner plate is by the well-known ceramics firm Ceramica Pinto. Vincenzo Pinto produced works of ceramic art in his Vietri Sul Mare, Italy, studio beginning in 1910 and the company is still in business today.Size and design : The classic 10 inch plate features a singing red rooster against a white background decorated with a classic Vietri design. On the reverse is the attribution “Made in Italy" and the initials PV, for Pinto Vietri.Condition : The plate shows no signs of use. It is in superb condition with no nicks, chips, marks, scratches, discoloration or repairs. It has many inconsistencies in the glaze and paint - these are not flaws but part of the charm of handmade ceramics.A fabulous gift for any lover of Italian ceramics, or for yourself!Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
