This auction is for this very pretty double overshot handwoven coverlet in a most unusual purple-pink and white, with a seam. The coverlet is dated to circa 1860, Loyalist Township, Ontario. It measures 78 x 56 inches. As can be seen, t is some colour variation in the pinks due to the dye used. The coverlet is in excellent, antique condition and would be an asset to any setting!
