ITEM DESCRIPTION Charming Antique Victorian Pine Chest, please take a few moments to read my advert in its entirety as it contains lots of information that is vital if you are considering bidding to buy. CIRCA 1880 Low start- No reserve! Hand waxed with Fiddes wax ( 3coats ) Please note the lid is slightly warped and does not quite close properly. A thoroughly charming centre piece suitable for any environment. Original Penny round hinges. Charming chest with bags of character . Lovely dovetail joints. Brass escutcheon for decorative purposes. Swing handles to each side. The chest measures Length 86 cm Width 37.5 cm Height 45 cm No obvious signs of woodworm, but has-been treated anyway. As this is a very old chest, the usual knocks bumps and splits are present as expected.
