Charming and Beautiful Cobalt Limoges Brooch Trimmed in 14 KGE Brought back from France by my Oma, this lovely brooch was never worn! It only shows light wear on it's old fashioned plunger pin, and in the faintest spots of tarnish on the back. The brooch is 1-1/2" wide. A beautiful limoge round porcelain tile is set in a 14K gold electroplated, decorative circle. The porcelain features the image of a Marie Antoinette-style maiden being wooed by a suitor bearing a bouquet. Very sweet! The background is deep cobalt blue, the image, gold. The piece is marked on it's back with the Limoges crest and the words: Limoges, Made in France, Wearable, Porcelaine, 24KGE. Offered for a very low starting bid!
