From Nana's Drawers, This lovely tabletopper, or tablecloth of about 48 inches, is silk, brought back from Italy, but.... unfortunately, my grandmother did not know in the bottom of her steamer trunk when the hurricane of 1960 came through, that it had gotten wet. So, although t are no snags, or pulls, t is a water line in the center. It is hard to tell if it is faded, because the color is predominantly gold. It features peasants in native dress and is truly a classic, too good to just toss away. But I have listed the condition issues, and if you have any reservations..... DON'T bid, because t are no refunds, and negative feedback??? Don't even go t!!!. So, hopefully a knowledgeable collector of antique textiles who knows how to restore this minor condition may bid, because items like this are a rare find. It would normally for this size start at a higher opening bid. It has a lovely silky fringe, Truly a keeper. Opening Bid @ $9.98 Combine bids and save on shipping and insurance costs.
