Charoite sp on Malachite stand. Photos do not truely capture the detailed purple patterns of the charoite. The malachite stand is polished on both sides. Sp measures approximately 4" diameter. Charoite is found to date only along the Chary River at Yakutiya, (Siberia, Russia) and occurs in various shades of purple with white swirls, black patches, and occasional golden dendrite formations. This specimen shows the unique star burst patterns. Check out my other auction items of rough material and sps.
