This is a carnival glass compote on pedestal with ruffled edge, in a chartreuse to green, and amber color. The pattern is deeply cut into the compote. I tried in one photo of the piece on its side to show at least part of the pattern clearly. The stem and base are of a clearer deeper green that the rest of the compote. I bought the piece at a collectibles shop and don't know its age or origin. I can find no maker's marks. I photographed the compote in bright and indirect light in an attempt to capture its true beauty. The compote is 5-inches tall by 5 inches in diameter across the opening. The iridescent colors change with the light and range from a yellow-green (chartreuse) to amber to pink or rose in the bottom of the bowl. This is a flawless, lovely piece. Thanks for your interest.
