Chatty Cathy has a soft face and very nice brunette hair . She has very few missing plugs, mainly in the back bottom row. Chatty Cathy's face has very nice coloring and has not faded. Her eyes open and close on their own. She has very pretty clear blue decal eyes with black eyelashes. She has her teeth but they are pushed almost completely in her lip. Maybe they can be pulled out with the right tool? She can stand alone. Her limbs are light and have faded which is common. She has been played with but is in great condition for a vintage 50 year old doll! She has the proper Mattel markings for the third issue doll. Her head turns properly. She is mute but has her ring and string (it will not retract). To the best of my knowledge all Chatty Cathy's parts are original to this doll. Chatty Cathy will come to you in her custom made outfit (made by me "Diz Dolly Dudz"). She is so adorable in her ladybug romper. Her romper closes with two snaps in the back.
