Sailor Boycarved marblesigned C.B. IVES/ FECIT ROMAEHeight 21 1/4 inches.Property from the Collection of Noel and Kathryn Dickinson Wadsworth, Atlanta, GeorgiaIn overall stable, attractive condition. Scattered scuff marks, most notably an inch-long black smudge to the subject's lower left cheek. Some chipping at the top of the socle, as well as to the rear points of the subject's collar. No other evidence of cracks or repairs. The bust has been affixed to the socle using an adhesive, residue of which is visible at the seam.
