Charming Straw Boater This is a pretty straw boater made from dark brown millinery straw braid and decorated with vintage black and white ribbon and a black ostrich plume. Made to fit the 12" Ultimate Fashion dolls and similar 12" fashions, this bonnet would look just as lovely on an antique German doll or all-bisque with a 5-6" head circumference. I like to use vintage or antique materials when I make my doll hats & accessories. If not, I use items that were available at the time; cotton, silk, straw, leather. No polyester or plastic! All of my items are made by hand, with special attention to detail. Please keep in mind that vintage/antique materials may show some slight age or wear, but I feel this just adds to the charm of the item. Please ask any questions and I will be happy to respond.
