This is a NEW HO-scale EMD FP7A powered drive diesel locomotive for the CHESAPEAKE & OHIO (C&O) RAILROAD - road #8002 (at the time of this listing, we also have #8003 - let us know if you have a preference). The model is from InterMountain Railways, "Where detail makes the difference!" A quality locomotive. It is completely assembled and painted in the C&O color scheme. This HO scale FP7 model is painted for the C&O with a dark blue body and gray band along the sill. The nose and pilot are accented with yellow. The script lettering on each side is blue. The model has etched metal grilles, wire grab iron details, and Kadee® couplers. The smooth powerful drive is equipped for DC operation. If you ever go into a DCC system, you will only need to plug in a DCC decoder since this loco already has the 8-pin DCC socket.Without question, this is a quality engine for your collection at a super price!
