You are bidding on a large 9 ¼” x 12” booklet showing scenes along the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway between Lake Michigan and Puget Sound. Inside this scenic guidebook you’ll find 22 vintage 6 "” x 8 "” color illustrations (one to a page) showing various points along the CM&StP rail line through the Rocky, Bitter Root and Cascade Mountains. Sixteen of the scenes contain CM&StP trains, including views of Lake Pepin; Montana Canyon; Lombard and Three Forks, Montana; the Spokane River bridge; the Columbia River bridge at Beverly; the Kittitas Valley; a tunnel on the Yakima River; and more. Two pages describe the CM&StP main line route between Chicago and the Puget Sound cities. The new Union Station in Chicago is touted and a map of the CM&StP and its connections is provided. The map shows a 1924 printing date, but I believe this booklet dates to 1927 or 1928. The covers show a little soil and wear. Otherwise, this item is in very good condition. Buyer pays $3.95 shipping in the U.S. . . . and check out my other eBay railroad auction items. Thanks for looking!
