A set of Chinese chest rig for the AK in very nice used condition(as pics shown) with 1965 dated( IN CHINESE 六五年度制) and some Chinese word on it (as pics shown) .It's not in GREEN (Green 1 appears since 80s) ,very rare item.T are two smaller pockets on each side, which are designed to hold items such as grenades, oil bottles etc. The magazine pockets are made in two stages to ensure correct and regular sizing. All pockets are double stitched onto the chest rig base. Pockets are closed with flaps which are secured into place with wooden toggle and loop closure. Chest rig shoulder straps are adjustable through a self-tensioning adjustment metal ring and bar system and excess strap length is secured into place under a vinyl loop. This prompted the Soviet Union to design and manufacture their own, which would later become known as the Type 1 Lifchik. The Chinese Chicom Chest Rig would be standard issue of VDV Desantnik's in the mid-late phase of the war, with use along the much older RD-54 system.
