Adorable pair of friends who have been together in the same family since the 1930s. They were passed down to the seller from her father. The little Chiltern bear is 11" tall. The Farnell dog is 10". Both have been well loved but they are clean and in a strong condition. The teddy has 2 replaced cotton paw pads. His mohair has thinned considerably but what is left is clean and fluffy. He still has his original well stitched nose and mouth, with 3 claws on each paw. He is softly stuffed except for his head which is stuffed with woodwool. All his joints are fine and he sits up well. His little friend is made from art silk which was took ages to clean. Although still little discoloured he is extremely clean! He is in all original condition. His stuffing is not as soft as the Chiltern's but his head has wood wool and is firmer than his body. He is unjointed and has stitched down ears, and very nice nose and mouth stitching. He has blue embroidery thread tied in a bow around each of his paws. Both of the little friends have old blue ribbons. I hope that whoever buys them does not separate them.
