We have the solution. We are presenting our own Antique Reproduction French and German China Paint Collections. These paints are dry powdered china paints and can be mixed with either water-based or oil-based painting mediums. The Medium you choose will determine whether the china paint is oil-based or waterbased. This listing is for the French Collection. PLEASE NOTE: ALL CHINA PAINT NEEDS TO BE FIRED IN A KILN TO AROUND 1335 DEGREES. These china paints contain lead so they fire true and fade less. Please follow recommended precautions for lead based china paints. The kit includes eight different colors that are appropriate for French dolls. Connie named the colors for what you use them for. Colors include: French Wash, French Eyelash, Bru Eyebrow, AT Eyebrow, Jumeau Eyebrow, French Lip, French Lip Shading and Cheeks, and French Eye Shadow. These excellant China Paints are highly comparable to many Virginia LaVorgna colors. French Lip is very similar to First Kiss and French Lip Shading and Cheeks is comparible to Old Master Red. Included are several pictures of French dolls that Connie has painted using this French Collection of paints.
