DESCRIPTION: Original 11" x 14" lobby card for CHINATOWN NIGHTS (1929), starring Warner Oland, Florence Vidor and Wallace Beery. Directed by William Wellman this early, part-talkie dealt was based on the story by Samuel Ornitz, TONG WAR, which chronicled the deadly rivalry between two Chinatown gangs. Swedish born Warner Oland, here plays a Chinese gangster here looking very much like his most famous screen role, Charlie Chan. CONDITION: FINE with light/moderate border edge and corner wear; faint border area smudging. No tape, tears or pinholes.
