You are bidding on very rare Antique Chinese Blue & White baluster vase with its original cover. Qing Dynasty (Kangxi Period) dating from 1662 to 1722.This item would have been a high statue piece and is fashioned from a blue/grey ceramic which has been hand decorated with an under glaze blue to a high standard. It is crammed with an intricate vine leaf design.This fabulous vase has a baluster shaped body and is topped with its original cover.This impressive vase stands approx. 11 inches high with its cover and 4.5 inches at its widest. It has a deep welled base as a piece from this period should and has some fritting in the body as you would expect from a piece of this age.NOTE: This particular example is a restoration project! It has suffered lots of damage! I have tried to show as much of the damage as possible. If your looking for a mint example then this is not for you!It needs lots of attention! Still a worth addition to an early chinese ceramics collection until a better example comes along! Its a good challenge for the skilled restorer!Will send this item out very well packed, to prevent any further damage in the postal system !You will not be disappointed.
