CHIPARUS DANCER WITH POSE SCULPTURE DECO-Resin Colored: ever mindful of the culture of his day, Romanian born Chiparus sculpted "Thias" an Alexandrian Hetera, after a popular 19th century opera. Intricately sculpted and meticulously hand painted in muted metallics, it has been finished with fleshtones to replicate the original ivory. This is created in cold cast resin to capture the nuances of the original, it is set on a faux marble base. It is in 2 pieces total weight 12 pounds. 14"X5"X12
