Greetings ebayers! Up for auction is this choice Blister Ore Chalcopyrite with Chalcocite & Calcite specimen from the legendary Chimney Rock Quarry in Boundbrook, New Jersey. From a very large collection of minerals recently sold by the Sterling Hill Museum. This specimen is heavy with ore mostly Chalcocite. It exhibits rare Chalcopyrite crystals.....just amazing. This quarry produced a limited amount of blister ore. This locale is strictly off limits to collectors and anything from here is highly prized. Specimens from this find are among the most sought after NJ specimens from any locale. An awesome specimen!!! Please look elsewhere on the internet to see just how pricey these get. . This is a rare chance to pick up a rare specimen from this locale. I have never listed blister ore crystals on ebay......and certainly nothing like this. It measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. The pictures tell the story.......good color & form, classic material, vintage locale, and solid cabinet size !
