The CHOISY LE ROI FAIENCE factory of Choisy-le-Roi, France produced Majolica from approximately 1860-1910. The firm's wares are some of the most delicate and delightful of the time. We have for auction today a lovely Majolica cup. They appeal to the heart of all ages. This is often referred to as a French Majolica Rabbit cup or Bunny cup. It measures approximately 4" tall. The handle is a handsome gray bunny. It was produced around the turn of the century by CHOISY LE ROI FRANCE and imported by HIGGINS AND SEITER. The mark on the back reads, "PATENTED DEC 4,1900 HIGGINS & SEITER NEW YORK MADE IN FRANCE." T are no chips, cracks, or repairs of any kind. It is in very good condition.
