UP FOR SALE U.S.A MADE USED Chopper1 Ax Axe Log Splitter Maul Splitting Wedge. The axe is in good shape but is missing one of the springs in the blade. These are easly obtainable threw the web site. You will also want a few spares with this axe. T are a few knicks in the blade you will be able to hone them out. The Handle is original and is crack free! It works by the spring action of wedges driving out and separating the wood. Eliminates the need for a wedge and sledge hammer. This Link Will Demonstrate How it Works!! /whatis.htm Splitting wood with The Chopper1 is faster and easier than with any conventional axe. The key lies in the rotating levers on each side of the axe's head. When the blade enters the wood, the levers swing out, directing the downward chopping force outward and exploding the log apart fom the inside. By chopping and splitting at the same time, the Chopper1 makes wedges and mallets unnecessary. And the Chopper1's design makes it practically impossible for the axe to become wedged in the wood. Since 1977, the Chopper1 has taken the frustration out of splitting wood. And now it's back, and available exclusively through this site.
