This 1976 35mm slide is showing Chris Amon on crutches Watkins Glen for the Grand Prix race. In 1976, Walter Wolf, determined to pull something from his messy first season in F1 with Frank Williams, who had by now left the operation, contacted Chris Amon. Amon was signed to drive for the team in the North American races and after recording some promising times in Canada, things were looking rosy. Then, in the second qualifying session, his car was T-boned by another and the tub was wrecked, Amon again being lucky to walk away. This Kodak 35mm Kodachrome slide is from the 19th United States Grand Prix race, an FIA Formula One World Championship race held on October 10, 1976 at Watkins Glen International, Watkins Glen, NY . You are bidding on the original October 1976 Kodak 35mm Ekt achrome color slide which was scanned for showing on Ebay. The word "FARMFRESH1004" is a watermark we have applied over the scanned image and does not appear on the actual 35mm slide. DEFECTS AND PHYSICAL CONDITION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The slides we sell are around 40 years old. 99.9% of ALL DUST , GRAY , BLACK or PURPLE SPOTS seen in this image originates from SCRATCHES , SCUFFS , FINE CRACKS and potential MOLD on the actual slide.
