Chrysocolla Shattuckite Lapidary Stone Slab Rough RockThe unpolished stone slab of Chrysocolla Shattuckite is just 2.9 inches long by 2 inches wide and slanted from 6.5 to 9 mm thick.The small semiprecious stone slab for lapidary cabbing weighs just 50.2 grams and is shown wet in the first 4 pictures.This material is stabilized for easier cutting!This lovely light blue/dark blue Chrysocolla Shattuckite is a new find in Sonora, Mexico, near the famous Milipillas Mine. Shattuckite is named from where it was first found, i.e. the Shattuck mine, in Bisbee, Arizona. Until around 2003/2004, the Shattuckite Mine was the ONLY mine in the world producing this mineral.
