She is GUARANTEED to be on an original French composition and wood body and made in France by UNIS c1926. She is GUARANTEED to be free of hairlines, cracks, chips or restoration to the bisque head. She has a fine bisque socket head on a fully jointed French composition and wood doll body. Sweet original BLUE SLEEPeyes , with painted lower lashes and real upper lashes , multi-stroke molded brows , open mouth with four upper teeth, stunning original light brown mohair wig. Dressed in a very pretty antique style blue taffeta dress with pink lace over-dress, lots of pale blue ribbons wonderful cotton half slip with tucks and lace edge and matching onesie with lace and blue ribbons, white cotton knit socks and antique black oilcloth shoes. Stunning matching bonnet with lace ruffle and flowers. WOW--What a lovely Museum worthy presentation! MARKS : UNIS 71 FRANCE 149 301 CONDITION: Excellent. This adorable head is in excellent condition with fine quality bisque, pleasant color --deep and crisp modeling with a slightly smiling expression and gorgeous original BLUE sleep eyes that render these charming French bebes so appealing, expert painting of features. The antique French body is in very good but with an o ld repaint condition. ( She does have pull strings but they do not activate a crier ). I have recently sold a similar but later version of this model (UNIS 301) for over $1800 right here on eBay . But I am starting this chunky beautiful doll on eBay tonight for JUST $1!!!!!
