This is a very nice dark cherry amber bakelite necklace with large round graduated beads which dates from the art deco era. The beads have tested positive for bakelite using simichrome polish where the colour comes up yellow/brown. The largest bead is approx 21mm in diameter and the smallest approx 7mm in diameter. The length is approx 400mm in total including the screw catch. The weight is 46g on my postal scales. The condition is of the beads is very good vintage.
