This photograph measures approximately 6 ½ in. by 4 ¾ in., on a hard card mount that’s been trimmed down to a size just slightly bigger than that. Methodist Episcopal parsonage, according to the note written on the back (see scans of the back, below). Condition – the image is clear enough for the people’s faces to be identifiable, but it is not quite sharp; the face of the cat (being held by the little girl) is not identifiable because it moved during the exposure; the mount has been noticeably trimmed down from whatever its original size might have been: Close-Up from the above image: Close-Up of the handwritten caption on the back: Colfax County / house / home / US Southwest / pioneers !
