Original fin-de-siècle print by Jules Chéret (1836-1932), "Papier a Cigarettes Job", Plate No. 1 from the Les Maîtres de l'Affiche series. Printed 1896, Imprimerie Chaix. In good condition (B).The blindstamp present on all Maîtres de l'Affiche prints is located in the lower right corner (see third photo). Paper has an aged tone and some light staining at the margins; colors are good and still quite rich. Some rippled creasing along the upper and right margins. Light to moderate foxing, most prominently in lower-right corner, though there are some areas elsewhere in the image.Sheet size is 15-3/4" x 11-1/2". Ships insured and in a flat, rigid mailer.
