This auction comes with an apprasial from 1980 on these German- Dresden, boy and girl French dressed, 10" tall late 19th century figurine lamps. Antique made into lamps, wow . These came from my great grandmother's estate. These are all original antique West Germany Victorian figurines. These impressive figurine were my grandmothers and she had them made into lamps. They represent elegant dressed boy and girl in French clothing, she even carries a paracel. Pink shoes and pink ribbon at waiste as well as pink ribbon on her elegant bonnet. She is also carrying a fan, she stands on painted and gold platform in her colorful flowers and lace long dress.She is very beautiful and has adorable blue eyes. Her face, neck, arms and legs made of I believe porcelain as well as her clothes. The boy is similar and even more detailed. The colors are rich and T are so many tiny details to observe, such as: richness of his and her dress, the flowers, the beautifully detailed facial expressions, their makeup and details of shoes and stockings. . These are an Amazing workmanship! They are so sweet. I tried to capture the beauty of them through pictures, but you can't really appreciate it until you see them in person! In 1880 these were appraised at $500. Now if perfect it would be $2500. However, t are a few details I need to disclose making them not read more
