View book from Isle of Man; black and white illustrated; map on back endpaper; Douglas from the Head, Peel Town and Castle, Ramsey from the Sea, Swiss Cottage & Suspension Bridge, Castletown, Port Erin, Castle Mona Hotel, Tower of Refuge Douglas Bay, Derby Castle, Douglas Head Lighthouse, Droon Waterfall, Kirk Braddan, Ballure Chapel & Albert Tower Ramsey, Laxey Wheel, Monas Isle (steamship), S.S. Douglas; 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" approx. size; no date but circa 1880 or earlier; original blue cloth covered boards, gilt cover lettering, cloth spine; some wear and rubbing, spine cloth chipped away in middle; last few views detached, rubbed a bit and edges ragged; contents in overall good condition and interesting architectural, geographical history of the Isle of Man; probably a souvenir from the steamship Monas Isle.
