For sale is a wonderful vintage porcelain bust of a girl with a head scarf. This porcelain piece has the Blue Crossed sword marks reminiscent of the Meissen factory out of Germany or perhaps a Dresden piece. There are several crossed sword marks in porcelain but I do not believe it is Meissen Factory. It came out of a high-end collection of European porcelain-ware from an estate collection in upstate New York. It was listed as Meissen however we don't concur. This piece has some factory kiln fired inclusions including a separation line along the mold casting line and some various kiln fired indentation marks. All of these marks are from the firing and none of this is from post firing damage. There is also some paint loss in the eye sections of this bust if you look very closely. Please see the pictures. However overall this piece is absolutely stunning. It remains in good condition for its age.It stands 8 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" wide.Posted with eBay Mobile Your browser does not support JavaScript. To view this page, enable JavaScript if it is disabled or upgrade your browser.
