Circa 1902 New York Giants Team Photograph With Mathewson & McGraw. Paying tribute to the New York Giants' first diamond nine is this 8x8" photograph. While the condition is reduced (PR) with heavy splitting and paper loss, captured front and center is a twenty-one year old rube named Christy Mathewson. After only two years Matty stood out over the rest. A 3" rip is on the right middle. John McGraw's image has a split but you can still see the intensity in his eyes. "First team N.Y. Giants under John McGraw, John T. Bush, Pres." is written on the reverse in pencil. Letter of provenance from the Bresnahan family. Grade: 0, Service: Appraised, Service No.: 2214220
