Vintage circa 1920's era 3 pound paper label tin coffee can as shown. This is Tangley Brand of Muscatine, Iowa. This company was owned by Norman G. Baker at 217 Main Street in Muscatine. Mr. Baker was known for owning radio stations KTNT in Muscatine and XENT in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was also known for claiming he had a cure for cancer which ended with him going to prison. This can is sold as shown with some paper label loss, rust and a dent as shown on the side of the lid. Measures 10 inches high and 5 & 1/2 inches across. This is a very hard to find can. Please see photos and email with any questions. Thanks for looking.
