Offered is an extremely attractive, near-pristine condition, vintage 1930-1940, Griswold #8 cast iron skillet with large block logo, bearing part number 704A. It's #8 size is an excellent compromise for that one skillet that will serve anywhere from single person, right up to moderate size family portions. Its inside cooking surface measures 8.5" diameter; its upper bowl rim measures 10.5" diameter; its overall length measures 15.5" long; and its bowl measures 2" deep. Its inside cooking surface is slick and smooth to the touch to enable stick free cooking. There is a scattered amount of ultra-light pinhole size "freckles"...actually the residue resulting from removal of previously existing surface oxidation.
