I found this paper in a box with some other older pieces. It reads as follows: "Defiance, Ohio, ________188___ "_________ __ ______" Plaintiff against theTownship Trustees of Blue Creek township in Paulding County in the State of Ohio and others. The clerk of the above mentioned court is by requested to _____ and deliver to the sheriff of the said county a Subpeena commanding "_______ _______" and "____ __ _____" to appear and be in the court house in said county on the first day of the next term of said court then and t to ________ testify as witness on the part and behalf of said plaintiff on the trial of the above entitled action in "_______ __ _____, Plaintiff. Dated May 29th ____1885" Condition of this piece is as seen in my picture.. it has torn edges top and bottom and was folded in 4. I have left out words I couldn't read and the people's names. The heading, Definace, Ohio and 188__ is actually printed on the paper and the rest is handwritten in ink. About 8 3/8" x 7 13/16" To the clerk of the Paulding County Circuit Court, Ohio."
