You're bidding at an antique brass "All in One" button cleaning board made during the Civil war. This piece was used to clean the brass buttons on uniforms. The board is 8" x 4 1/8"closed and opens to 14" long. Obviously, due to age, the board is very tarnished and has patina, but is in good working order.
