Up for auction are Seventeen Civil War bullets dug in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia from 1977-1979. These bullets were dug from Federal Infantry camps near Winchester Virginia, all relics were dug on private property and of course with the owners permission. This group contains 17 excellent dropped bullets, there are (13) dropped 3 ring .58 cal. minies, (1) very nice dropped .58 cal. Swage J.D.Custer MM# 348 minie and (3) .44 cal. Colt Revolver bullets, two are MM# 122 and the other looks to be a MM# 489. All bullets are in dropped condition with very few marks. MM# = Mason andMcKee Number
