UnID'd Mainer. -UnID'd Maine Officer-Either Captain or Lieutenant. Nice portrait of Maine officer has backmark of BLODGETT, Photographer, Rockland, ME. Please Note : This is an original, vintage carte de visite ("CDV") photograph from the 1860s, it is not a reproduction. The CDV was a highly collected photographic format popular during the Civil War and later measuring approx. 4" x 2-1/2". Items permanently guaranteed vintage and authentic . Condition : "Very Good", strong tones and clarity, slight wear and age to mount.Payment must be received within 5 days of auction close.
