Original partly pre-printed Confederate Civil War medical pay document for $200 paid to Dr. A. P. Pelzer, CSA Surgeon stationed in Atlanta, dated January 2, 1864. Signed by Surgeon Pelzer upon receipt of the funds. He was a Charleston, S.C. resident and physician prior to the war. The form notes that Colonel J. B. Weems, who was wounded in action at Gettysburg leading the 50th Georgia Infantry, was in charge of the post where Surgeon Pelzer worked. Document size about 7 3/4" x 8 1/4". Free shipping.
