For your bidding consideration I have a nice original excavated Rare and unique American Civil War Enfield Bullet .577 caliber with plug in base. This unique excavated bullet was part of the carge aboard the blockade-runner Modern Greece when she was sunk June 27, 1862. The Modern Greece was a very large schooner-rigged, propeller steamer of over 1,000 tons. These bullets have been left as they were recovered from the wreck (By Underwater Unlimited) after laying on the ocean floor off the coast of North Carolina for over 100 years. This is a awesome piece!! Comes with Certificate Of Authenticity from Underwater Unlimited from whom it recovered the bullet( look at picture 4)! This would make a great addition to someones bullet collection. I am currently downsizing my Civil War collection and will be selling other bullets, Union & Confederate buttons, and vintage weapons (1862 Tower Enfield and Lefaucheux revolver). If you have any questions please E-Mail me. Please use pictures to judge the condition yourself. Comes from a smoke free home. What you see is what you get. Item is sold as is. !!!! I may accept other forms of payment please Email me and ask. Please check out my other Vintage Auctions. Will include a Delivery Confirmation with shipping price.
