After taking almost a year off from selling on ebay I am slowly getting back into it. I have had numerous family issues that had to be dealt with and now that time allows I will start selling again. This piece is from my fathers collection. My father born and raised here was well known in town and always loved Gettysburg. Anything that had to do with Gettysburg he was all ears. He was a relic hunter and collector of anything Gettysburg which got me hooked as a child myself. I remember being dragged to peoples houses and shop where they would spend hours and hours talking about the battle and the new relics they found and or traded. As a young child I wanted to do anything but. My dad was friends with many of the museums curators and shop owners and anyone else that took an interest to the Civil War and town. My father started relic hunting with a surplus WWII mine detectors until the market grew into what it is today. Back then a US belt plate cost no more then 15 / 20 bucks with CS plates going for 50.00 to 100.00 plus. During my dads time he amassed a nice size collection of Gettysburg Relics and other Gettysburg related items. Close to 2 years ago I started to sell of some of it and now I am back again. Enough with our past and onto the details.Battle of GettysburgFederal Eagle ButtonNice CUFF SIZE button attached to a card that read more
