Condition: Textblocks beginning to slip at the tops of the spines (still secure), otherwise Near Fine in Very Good dust jackets lightly faded at the spines with a couple short tears & slipcase with a scuff on one side. Please note, these are Later Printings of the first edition but not Book Club. "A stylistic masterpiece, this is one of the best popular histories of the war. The study is a useful counterpart to Catton's trilogy because it offers a sweeping overview from a decidedly different perspective.
