Civil War Period Tintype Gem Album Gem albums were often carried by Soldiers serving in the field during the Civil War. Small compact keepsake to remind them of their loved ones at home. These were also carried by traveling salesmen, who also were far from home. The album measures 3 3 /8" by 1 3/4", contains 40 plus images of men, women and children. Portraits and a few full figures. Condition on most very good, slight normal age wear to the album. A small sample shown. See my other Vintage Images now on eBay. I ship by USPS. Insurance is optional and is included on the invoice, however, I will not be responsible for uninsured items.
