The auction is for a reenactor's Union� Captain's jacket and gear- in great condition!This kit includes the following:1 Officer's Frock coat- dark blue 100% wool, fully lined (including pockets), and� incredibly� well made! � Has sewn in� epaulet tabs and collar hook. � Made in the USA by the Quartermaster Shop. � Tagged as being a '48T' or 48 Tall. � I wear a 44T dress coat and this fits very comfortably with a little extra room in the chest. � Length from collar top to the edge of the tail in the back is 43". � Though the� sleeve� measures� 29" from the epaulet tabs to the edge of the cuff, It fits � just beyond the wrist (half way on the thumb) and I wear a 35� sleeve� dress shirt. � Great condition- no holes- comes from a smoke free house. 1 Set of Union officer's captain epaulet bars (with the appropriate hooks on the back to fit the coat tabs. 1 Union officer's wine/maroon cummerbund/sash. 1 Union officer's infantry field cap. Leather sweat band, cotton lined. Fits at least 7 1/2 if not 7 3/4. 1 Union officer's leather belt (correct buckle) with shoulder strap and sword straps (baldrick), sword knot, and primer/shot pouch (with wool lining).
