Us Civil War Confederate Grey CanteenLarge - Civil WarUp for auction is a reproduction civil war style canteen made of stainless steel and covered by a grey(Southern) wool covering. This style canteen has been made in stainless steel for rust free use instead of the traditional tin material which rusts up fairly easily just like back during the civil war. This canteen has a grey wool cover signifying the use by the confederate troops. Comes with a 100% canvas cotton shoulder strap and a chained so you don't loose it, corked stopper. Canteen measures approximately 7-1/2" across in diameter x 8" wide. Holds about 40 ounces of liquid. Please check out our other civil war items in our store.
