Another wonderful volume in a beautiful binding from Easton Press. Famous historian Shelby Foote produced an unequaled three volume set entitled The Civil War: A Narrative. This is volume 3 only of the Easton Press leatherbound set. I've seen two bindings for this set . A bright scarlet and a deep red, almost on the edge of maroon. This is the deep rich brick red version. The book is in very good plus condition with corners square and unbumped, the rich gold decoration bright anf complete, the raised bands unrubbed. The gold page edges are unblemished and the silk bookmark is still in place. T are no bookplates or markings or names. Just a beautiful item. If you need to replace volume three or trying to assemble a set, this will be a fine addition to your collection. Postage/insurance is included in the price for US bidders.
