Veteran Union reenactor of 18 years retiring from the hobby and selling off equipment. Items were used in History Channel programs and films "Glory" and "Gettysburg" - doing both Regular Army and Volunteer impressions. Offered for auction is a regulation design metal mess plate and a regulation tin cup (silver soldered). The plate has a nice rolled edge and measures 9-3/4" in diameter and is 1/2" deep (great for beans or stews). The cup is 4" in height and is 4" in diameter with a period wire reinforcement at the handle/lip. The lip is nicely rolled as is the handle edging - watertight and in fine shape. Please e-mail me with any questions. Please see the other equipment I am auctioning off this weekend and in the next few weekends to come (I will combine shipping if interested). Please note that I ship only through the US Post Office. Shipping cost is $4.60 anyw within the US. Non-US interested parties will be expected to make payment by means of an International Money Order - payable in US Dollars (note, this or cash are the only non-US forms of payment that will be accepted) and international shipping costs will be determined after the close of the auction once I receive a sending address. I do not use Paypal - this is NOT AN OPTION - sorry. T is NO RESERVE on this item. Thanks for your interest.
