Nice Civil War Soldier Tintype housed in a very desirable Patriotic photo case. The front of the leather case shows a large American Flag with some gold gilt still evident. This is a ninth plate size that measures approximately 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 7/8 inches tall, with case. The case is complete but has a repaired spine. The repair was nicely done in my opinion. Overall, a nice piece to add to your collection. The scanned images are a fair representation of this overall item. Given the age of this item, please understand you are buying "as is." I currently have several Civil War images, Ambrotypes and Tintypes, listed on ebay. Thanks for looking.
