Civil War Union Soldier in Uniform w/ Hat Oval Tintype, Framed, 1/6 PlateDescription :One rare antique genuine US Civil War Union Soldier (Unknown) oval shaped tintype with rose gold colored interior framing and a green velvet outer case with brass hardware. Soldier has a big fancy bear and is in a seated position in uniform with his hat on. When closed, measures about 3 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide. Picture itself with gold framing is about 3" long x 2 1/2" wide. I am not an expert but I believe this is (approximately) 1/6 plateCondition:Very good antique condition overall, picture itself is very clean with slight rainbow affect on the top, glass over it has no cracks or chips. Framing is also very nice and bright with no dings, and case has a couple stain spots inside and some typical fading towards the middle on the outside.
