Hello and good day to you. This auction is for a custom made, reproduction Civil War french style corset. The winner will receive a corset, custom made to her measurements like the ones pictured. Unless you are really lucky and a standard size, it is very difficult to purchase a ready made corset that fits properly which is the reason I only make custom corsets to measurements provided by the buyer. I use high quality, corseting supplies. The fabric is white, 100% cotton coutil, the boning is white spring steel boning encased in white boning casings. T are 16 bones in this style of corset as well as a spring steel busk in the front. The lacing holes in back are high end, very durable, two piece grommets and I can either use three sets of laces or one, whichever you prefer (one is the default laced in the "bunny ear" fashion for ease in putting the corset on by yourself). The corset pictured on the dressform in the first photo shows eyelet beading with ribbon drawn through at the top of the corset. This is optional, if you wish I can leave it off. If you want the lace and ribbon, the choice of ribbon color is yours. Please note: the chemise and petticoat shown in the first picture are NOT included in the auction.
